Righto. You want icons. I have loads of free time.

We can work with this.

This is addedforflavor's Icon Journal. This is where I'll post icons I've made.

I specialize in Television show icons, icons from 1930's-1970's magazines, and Movie icons. I am more than happy to take requests.
Most of my icons are dark, but I will lighten contrast if it's requested for monitors that can't handle the image darkness. I see the light, pastel icons everywhere, and I try to do something a little different. (Though not better, always, understandably)

I will, can, and like to do other things, such as banners, link buttons, and friends only-mabobbers.

Onto the un-fun stuff:

Rules:
1. Comment.
2. Credit. (I'm not getting paid, I need to feel love in some form.)
3. IF YOU WRITE IN ALL CAPS AND YOU DON'T HAVE A BROKEN CAPSLOCK KEY... I will seriously tear you a new one. Don't do that.
4. Flaming me, doesn't win you points. Being an ass does not equal 'witty'.
5. I ask that you attempt to act like a responsible adult. I really don't care how old you are.
6. If you choose not to comment or credit, (Which will seriously upset me) don't pretend you made what I did. I'll hit you with a shovel.
7. Be cool. If there's a problem, talk to me, and I'll fix it. Don't throw things in my face.

Brushes used were made by me, so I'll credit myself here. If you're looking for any of them, and know how to make brushes off an image file, I'll post it for you, so long as you credit me somewhere.
Bitmap fonts were nabbed from either: HERE or HERE
All other fonts I went and looked around for at various font sites.
If you'd like to know the creator of a font I've used, let me know, and I'll get the name for you. I did not, and will not claim that I made any fonts I use.
I use apple computers, and whatever program I have at the moment that works best, usually, a version of photoshop, and on occasion, quark. I use a gif compressor on some icons, and yeah, anything else you want to know, just ask.
Screencaps, are either mine, or nabbed from various sites associated with the topic. If you would like to know the sites, I would be more than happy to tell you.

99% of the [adult swim] caps were done by yours falsely.
All retro icons are made from photos of my old magazine collection. Any other pictures I am more than willing to help you out to find. Working on a links list, to make things simple.
I like to give credit where credit is due, and if you find I'm using something of yours without crediting, PLEASE, let me know, and I will credit, and link to your site. I get so many different things from different places, that I sometimes forget where I'd spotted them.
I am not making profit for my icon or graphic work. I'm simply trying to get practice in, and doing it for the love of doing it.
